Accord Software and Systems Pvt. Ltd., a company focussed in Aerospace, GPS, Wireless and business productivity software achieves CMMI Maturity Level 5 for it's software divison.

October 20, 2004 -- Accord Software and Systems Pvt. Ltd.- Software Division, Bangalore, has achieved Maturity Level 5 rating on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), - SW,v 1.1, Staged Representation.

The rigorous assessment based on SEIs Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A) was led by Software Quality Center Pvt. Ltd.s (SQC) SEI Authorized Lead Assessor, Krishnan Puthucode.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishnan Puthucode said: Accords software division is one of the few organizations with a strong motivation to achieve excellence in quality. The uniqueness of this divisions achievement is that quality movement has percolated down throughout the divisions employees in the organization, making it very effective.This achievement is really an exciting one, since it makes Accords software division join the elite brand of fewer than 75 organizations world wide that have achieved this benchmark as per recent published and available SEI data
